How do I pay for this service?

Downloading and installing the program on as many PC's as you like is free. When you log on to the website and want to see the reports, such as Profit & Loss, for the first time you will be taken through an on-line process by our secure payments provider Protx. You will need a credit card.

Why do I need to upload or download the information?

The program works in two parts. You enter information on your PC and the program remembers it, but the website cannot see it. When you go on the website to view reports, the website only knows about information which has been uploaded. If any changes are made to the information on the website or using another PC, these can only be see by your PC if they have been downloaded.

  What are Creditors?

This question only applies if you do not use Cash Accounting

A Creditor is someone who is owed money by your business. When you receive an invoice from a company they become a creditor until you have paid off the whole invoice. When you enter an Expense item and don't click Did you pay in full for this expense? the program creates a Creditor record for this item. You can view your creditors by clicking on the Creditors tab. This screen shows how much you owe each creditor. If you click on the corresponding View all button you can view transactions with that creditor, create a statement to send them or enter any payments to, or credit notes from, them.
